Parents and students,
We hope you are at home safe and healthy. Some of you are wondering what to do with your time while out of school. We do not know the future of our school year or how long we will be out of school. Please know we have no expectations of you at this time to complete any work or curriculum. We do not want to cause you any stress about any unfinished grades or assignments. Please always refer to messages from WCPSS for the most up-to-date guidance on school matters.
For those of you who would like to keep up with the math curriculum as we were intending to finish this semester, we can recommend learning, practicing, and self-assessing through Khan Academy. Please know this is not a requirement nor an approach to online schooling, but a suggestion in response to some requests we have received. You can proceed through the units at your own pace, and only if you choose to at all. Each unit has numerous video lessons, with accompanying practice, a quiz or two, and a unit test so you can assess yourself.
OPTIONAL Coursework:
We will be in touch if we know anything more about how schooling and the semester is to proceed. Until then, do not let math class be the source of any anxiety. We will all get through this with kindness and grace. Try to stay active, eat healthy, and enjoy a little sunshine (while also keeping your distance). If you are in need of food, please see the plan from WCPSS.

OPTIONAL Coursework:
- We left in the middle of the circles part of our unit 6. The circles unit on Khan Academy can be found here. You can go through all of the topics, many of which we covered, or choose only the ones we had not yet covered.
- Unit 7 ventures into the unit circle and graphs of trigonometric functions. Here it is.
- Finally, we have a very brief unit on statistical studies.
